System Shutdown

I just upgraded a Windows 98 Machine to Windows 2000
Professional. On the 98 version when you told it to
shutdown it would go all the way off. Well, now when you
shut it down (on Windows 2K Pro) it gives a screen
of "Now it is safe to turn off your computer." Is there
some setting where I can change that?

Is it a Compaq? It's something to do with Power Saving features. I had the
same problem on some Compaq Deskpro's. I installed a patch for them from
Compaq and some it fixed and some it didn't.
