System Shutdown Message

I have an IBM laptop with Windows XP Professional. After
I turn it on, I try to click into my user account, and I
get a message "System Shutdown" - Remote Procedure Call
(RPC) service terminated unexpectedly

The computer counts down for 60 seconds, and then
restarts. Anybody had similar problems?
