Mikey;
If the Restore Points are not there, you can not use them.
There is no way to get them back.
You need to find another solution to your problem.

Post details of your problem in an appropriate newsgroup and perhaps someone
may be able to give you a solution to your original problem.

Many things can cause loss of Restore Points, when they are gone, they are
gone and can not be recovered or used.
Some of the things are:
Available space on hard drive
Computer usage
Space you dedicate to System Restore
If you use Real Player, try doing without it for a few days:

And others.

See this link for more about System Restore:

Did you bring up february's calendar?
Click the little left arrow top left in the calendar.

FWIW, you can add antivirus corrupting the system restore data. (if it is
av doing it, an event will be posted to the event logs that SR will not work
until user creates a restore point manually.)

ps - i won't say which ;)

If there are no restore points with the prior months date, then the
option to go back to it will not exist. The older ones are systematically
removed as newer ones are created. And how many will be created depends
on how much you have on your system ((approximately 12% of the drive space)

Hi Mikey,

Are there any bold dates on the calendar for dates previous to the
current date?

If you are referring to the "System Restore Settings" link on the
"Welcome to System Restore" page I would suggest reinstalling System
Restore.

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the windows\inf folder.
Find the sr.inf file, right click on it and select Install.
Test System Restore.
