system restore

I am having a problem with this windows xp professional xpsp1 . the problem
is with the framedyne.dll file that affects the system restore functions and
the advance tab on my network connections, it does not have the option for
the firewall anymore, I have tried to replace the file from my
%systemroot%\windows\system32\wbem folder and from the initial installation
disk, I386 folder. nothing works, can someone with some sense of windows xp
help.
 
Try this, copy framedyn.dll file from \Windows\System32\WBEM directory to
the Windows\System32 directory.
