System Restore

I'm running XP Pro and I am unable to conduct a restore to
an earlier time. This occurs when I select the oldest or
most recent system checkpoint. Any suggestions? Please
help.

Thank you

Your system restore reference points are probably corrupt. Once
system restore fails, it's best to turn it off, reboot, and turn it on
again. That will flush out all previous system restore points and
create a new one.

Do not depend on system restore as you would a backup. Make backups
often. Also, system restore points that are old may result in more
problems if you use them to restore.
