Good suggestions here. You will find it easy to decide whether the
second link applies to your situation. The first link offers a number of
possibilties and may take a while to work through.
First shutdown restore (disable it),restart pc,back in xp,turn on
restore,go to
tools,open restore,set a specific time & current date,exit when thru.If it
was
working,then in disk cleanup,locate "other options",at the bottom of options,
click the tab "delete all but last restore point"..
