system restore

Please walk me through a system restore on Vista Ultimate. I ran Ad-Aware,
deleted some MRUs and now I have no sound. Will a System restore to a couple
of hours ago fix my problems?

Hi,

A System Restore will go back to a point in time when a restore point was
created. You can use the most recent one, or go back further. Open it up
from the program menu (either type it in or go to all
programs/accessories/system tools), and choose either the recommended one or
a different one. If choosing the latter, the following dialog will have an
option to show more than just the most recent one.
