system restore

My son changed things on my computer. I tried going to system restore and
system restore has no bold dates other than todays date--it will not let me
go to a previous month or date. I am using windows xp.

ability at all?
Get as much info as you can before going off in the wild blue yonder.
 
How is she in trouble? You don't even know the problem. Perhaps she just
wants to change something minor.

I'm actually a very analytical type and a good troubleshooter.

Talking about wandering off into the wild blue yonder:

While knowing what/how it happened will help keep it from happening
again, it ain't gonna bring the damned things back, so it's not going
to help in this situation.
 
Look in a mirror. Then read your stupid posts and perhaps (just perhaps)
you'll think.
