it's possible that the point you
are seeking no longer exists on your system.
there are registry cleaners and system
cleaners that will clean them out to
maximize your disk space. but the better
cleaners have options that allow users
what should be skipped and left alone.
also, windows may have removed them
as well if you adjusted the amount of
disk space and you didn't allow
enough room for windows to use for
additional restore points.
if by chance you still have any
but the system restore crashed there
is a tiny software that might help
do a search for a website by doug knox
and look for something called system restore
calendar. if you still have the restore files
the freeware will rebuild the calendar.
if not and your system is not working
right, then do a windows repair with
the windows setup cd. this will restore
any system files that may have become
corrupted or replaced with incompatiable ones......
