Sound on Saving

When I saved some text, for example:

1. I marked [or highlighted] the text that I wanted to save.

2. I pressed "Control + C" on the keyboard.

3. I heard a sound [like a short beep].

4. The item was saved on my clipboard.

5. [When I used this, I'd use "Control + V" to paste.]

I don't hear any sound now -- see "3" above. What should I do to get
back the sound?

Thank you,

Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio>Sounds tab
If you already have a sound for Copy there should be one for Paste.
Check under Program Events for a sound you can activate.

My sounds folder seems to be very different from what you describe.
There don't seem to be ANY associations for functions [as well as
anything else].
