system restore

is there a way to do a system restore via a command line since I cannot get
windows to boot properly?

I don't think it'll even boot to safe mode, it goes past POST, before the XP
splash screen and gets a quick BSOD (so quick I can't even read it) and it
reboots
 
Hi

Try pressing F8 as soon as you reboot. If you can't get to the screen that
has Safe Mode as an option you may be looking at a 'Repair' install of XP.

I tried the repair, thats how I ended up here. I was the guy with the cannot
read .exes or aparrently .reg or .com files. I tried the repair and ended up
where I am
