System Restore

have been trying to do a system restore and I keep getting a message after
the system shuts down and comes back up that System could not restore try a
different date. I have tried several different date and none can be
restored. Any help is appreciated.

Try booting into the "Safe Mode" then try the restore...That usually
works.

when i sign into any windows on the internet i get red blocks all over the screen. i can read the topics but no pictures appear. i have done a restore but not working. jim
