Is there a log created during a restore? It could possibly help me solve my
problem.
I can't find any reason why I keep getting "Restoration Incomplete" for any
restore point I choose- rendering System Restore unusable for me. During the
restore, the status bar moves until it is about 25% done then jumps to the
end and restarts the computer. After logging in, it says "Restoration
Incomplete".

Hi

That error message would suggest that one or more of the System Restore
files have become corrupt. You can try turning SR off/on, although you will
lose all existing checkpoints:

Right click on My Computer and select Properties>System Restore. Enable
'Turn off System Restore on all drives' - then reboot your PC. Go back into
SR and disable 'Turn off...' and then reboot again. After the second reboot
you should have one new checkpoint and SR should work properly after that.

I don't want to lose my checkpoints. There's a restore point I want to go
back to.
Any other suggestions you may have?

Hi

You can't - if you're getting the same error message on all checkpoints -
sorry.
