ok my computer is trashed its a vaio i love it but its near ruined, my mp3
software camera software is all obsolete and my only hope is system restore
BUT i cannot restore any date before january 2006 can this be fixed or is my
computer and my life screwd

System Restore was not designed to repair trashed computers. You need a clean install - that means erasing your hard disk and starting again from scratch.

Hi,

All available restore dates will show up in the calendar. And going back
that far can cause more problems than it fixes. I would suggest
performing a repair install if uninstalling the camera software doesn't
take care of the problem.
