system restore

is it a good idea to think about moving my system restore
files to another drive?

if so - HOW do I do it?

I think it's a good idea to have this stuff (like my temp
files and swap space) on another disk for performance
(different EIDE channel too).

but I have NO IDEA where/what to change (make a shortcut
in the System Volume Information dir. to the REAL dir. on
another drive?).

System Restore files must remain on the same partition as
the Windows XP O/S. Otherwise, it will not work as designed.
