System restore

System Restore dose not work. Message says " Unable to restore to a orevious
date.. I have tried restoring to several dates but still the same. I have
checked to make sure that System Restore is not switched off which it says
it is on. Has anyone any ideas on this one. Alan

Hi Alan,

System Restore often becomes corrupt and does not work. Turn off SR for all
drives and re-boot. That will clear all restore points. I would suggest that
you turn SR back on for the system disk only and move the slider to allow
around 500 Mb's for restore points. Create a new restore point. The default
12% is usually gross overkill. 500 Mb's will allow enough room for around
6-12 points and that should be sufficient for most users.
