system restore windows xp home

I understand how to use system restore and i know that it
takes up space on the hard drive, but will I lose it
every time I do a restore, or do I get it back?

Hi

If you use System Restore and then find that you have used the wrong Restore point you can go back to the previous one without losing anything. You can use any of the SR points at any time.
