System Restore Tab not there

My "System Restore" tab does not show up when I go to "My Computer" -> "Properties", nor "Control Panel" -> "System". I can create a restore point, I haven't tried restoring to one. If I click on the "System Restore Settings" link in the System Restore program, it brings up the "Automatic Updates" tab in "System". What's going on?
 
You more than likely have it turned off. Go to start--all
programs--accessories--system tools--system restore and turn it on.

Nope- if you read my original post, you would see that System Restore is on, it is working, I just don't have the tab appearing....
 
I was hoping - but, no, neither of those situations are occuring.... weird....
