How do I restore the System Restore shortcuts? I'm not sure how I lost them
.. . . but I can only access System Restore through Help and Support on the
Start Menu. I tried the troubleshooting tips, and the XP SP2 CD to try to
reinstall System Restore . . both to no avail . . . any ideas? Thank you.

Hi,

Create a new short cut and paste this command into the target:

%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

Then drag it to a location of your choice.

Go to this folder/directory and create shortcut.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\System
Tools
Assuming your Windows is on "C" drive.

Use information provided by Bert Kinney for file location.
Name shortcut: System Restore

Thank you both for your help! :-)
