System Restore - Runtime Error 5 at 00404313

I set a system restore point and the computer rebooted.
When restarted, message says system cannot be restored to
selected date.Clicked OK. Then "Error - Runtime error 5 at
00404313". Help.

what it was. I am getting the same error message that you said run

Take a look in your Startup folder. If you've got an entry for
winlogon.exe (which appears to be an Internet Explorer hijacker) then
delete it and restart.

You might also want to consider using something like Ad-Aware, Spybot
or Pest Patrol if this is the problem together with some sort of
anti-virus application and firewall as well as running Windows update
once in a while.
