System Restore Questions

Hi all....

How do I set the disk space available for system restore? A procedure on
Microsoft's site says to open Control Panel and click on Performance and
Maintenance but Performance and Maintenance is not available on my
computer. Is there another approach?

How far back a restore point is considered sufficient to adequately
cover your ass?

I know this varies, but how much disk space, on average, is used to
define one restore point?

thanks

Hi

Right click on My Computer and select Properties>System Restore. Then
highlight the appropriate drive and click 'Settings'.

10 days is probably the maximum time to back to - depending on how
installing/uninstalling you do. However, personally, I don't go back
further than 7 days.

50-60 MBs per checkpoint perhaps.
