System restore query

Hi all
System Restore works fine in Safe Mode, but does not work in Normal Mode.
Is there a possible fix to this problem.

Are you using any third party firewall/av application? When in Safe Mode
these applications aren't started and Norton is one that is known to block
changes to the OS, see:
