As said from the title, the System Restore on my Vista laptop is not working. I want to use the system restore on my laptop to go back about two days. Unfortunately, after I come back from the system restoring process, an error message pops up. It says: System Restore did not complete successfully. Your computer's system files and settings were not changed.

Details:
An unspecified error occurred during the System Restore. (0xc0000056)

I've tried searching other forums and websites for the solution. I disabled Norton 360 and used System Restore in safe mode, but the error message still keeps popping up. I don't know what's the problem, and I have no idea what's going on.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks.

if you used System Restore at all, then you probably have a virus or corrupted file system recovery, and you want to reinstall system restore to solve the problem
