I have a batch file that I would like to schedule to run
before I get into the office. The batch file works fine
when I am logged on to my computer. However, when I lock
my workstation, the program does not run. I get a message
saying 'Not enough system resources to display completely.'
The program is simple. I have a VB executable file that
opens Excel & uses an add-in to pull data from a database
stored on a network drive & then saves the file. When my
workstation is not locked I can run this while having many
other applications running with no problem.
What does locking the workstation do to my system resources
so that the program is unable to run? I have not been able
to find any information about this. Is there anything I
can do such that when I lock the workstation, my system
resources are unaffected?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
I have Windows XP w/ a Dell Pentium 4 CPU 2.8GHz & 1.0 GB
of RAM.
