System Recovery

When using System Recovery (Standard Recovery) I get a
message telling me that I need file 20127.nls. What is
this file, where is it and why is it not in the set of
Recovery discs?

..NLS files are National Language Support files. If you have a 'Recovery' disk then all files pertaining to the Language setup 'should' be on the XP CD. How is the Recovery disk used? Are all files on the XP CD or are they on a hidden partition on the hard disk and are accessed via an option activated from a setup program on the XP CD? Which UK company did you purchase your PC from - this may help with your problem?
