System Properties/ Computer Name Tab

My Computer Description Window on this tab is closed so I can not see or
change the description.
Does anyone know were in the registry I can find this info and modify it?
PC was networked for a while but now I can not get it to appear on My
networks eventhough the system tells mne that it has been accepted? I
suspect that the Original PC name which had characters in it that the system
was NOT supposed to take might have gummed up the works?

Thanks but that only opens General Tab keys,Not Computer Name Tab keys!

No Control Set 003! Guess that explains why I do not have access to that
feature?
Wonder were that reg entry went?
Can you tell me how to enter the needed item(s) into the registry?

Maybe using the "CurrentControlSet" would do it.
