system not suitable for running MS-DOS & Microsoft Windows applica

I am getting this message every time I start up this is:
C:/Windows/styems32/AutoEXEC.NT
The sytem file is not suitable for Running MS-DOS & Microsoft Windows applications.

I need help please,
