System Mechanic 6 or...? (URGENT!)

Marek Kalisz

For a few days I used System Mechanic 6 Pro installed during repair by
technician. I uninstalled it because this was not my copy. But, during
those few days of use a few things started to bother me. First - SM was
leaving most of disk errors not fixed. Second - it tried defrag and check
for malwares (when I have already Diskeeper and a few anti-spywares).
Anyway, this kind of "universal" gadget is useful, I think. I have an
option to get SM 6 with a big discount (but - discount deadline is almost
now) but... Should I look for something better? Any suggestions/opinion
will be appreciated.

Monitor system and correct common problems (similarly to some other suites
as, for example, older Norton or something from Ontrack). Maybe, also,
monitor/optimize/speed up system.

"Monitor system" for what parameters?

"Correct common problems"...what are "common problems"?

There are no general fix-it programs for Windows. You need to know what
it is you wish to accomplish before you can look for software that
accomplishes those things.

I suggest you do some research about maintaining a computer. You will
gain valuable insight into how a computer works, and what you need to do
to keep it running well.
