System.mdw

I have Access 97 loaded on Windows Server 2003. I am trying to have a number
of users use a database. I am able to get one user in no problem, I am able
to get a second user in some of the time. I am getting system.mdw file
already in use. I have the file shared as modify, write, read and read and
execute. I don't have any passwords on the database. I am attempting to use
this in Terminal server.

thanks Larry

What permissions do you have on the folder where the MDB exists? You need
those same permissions you listed for the file on the folder because of the
locking file (the LDB file)

I changed the permissions on the folder, they were not the same.
I have two terminal servers. One seems to be ok. The ldb file shows up in
the system32 directory on one server. On the other server I am not able to
see the ldb file and one person is able to login to database.

I also tried the KB Q301966 , I receive an error on this on both servers.
Regini failed to load from file 'Office97.Key (2). to insure proper operation
of the office 97 users who are currently logged on must log off and on again
before running any Office 97 applications.

I did log all my test users off and on. I am not sure if there is more to
this?
