System log in event viewer is blank.

The viewer shows 16,059 entries, but no entries show. F5
does not populate the pages. Any ideas/suggestions?

did not work. I did save the log, clear the entries and it
is now populating.
 
Odd, but I'm glad it's working now. So, you didn't have a filter applied?
