I am told there is a command in windows xp that will bring up system information including hotfixes, dll versions, and software versions amongst other things. I already know the system info command but that doesnt give quite all the information i need. Does anyone know this command or if it even exists? Thanks

Try Start > Run > msinfo32

Or you can download Belarc advisor which provides detailed information
of your system in a html file,
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

Good luck
