system info change

for some reason my sytem info has my "locale" as Russia. I am in the USA and
what happens is that some installs of downloaded software are in Russian.
Yikes, how do I change my locale in system info? Is this a change in the bios
and if so how do I get there?

Sorry Karl, it ain't that simple, tried it. This is part of the registration
I believe, it comes up in SYSTEM INFO. Start-Programs-accessories-system
tools-system information. it's on the system summary list right under Boot
Device.

Goto the Advanced Tab and Set the Language for non-Unicode programs
drop-down to English (United States)
