System Idle Process

My computer's system idle process is using 99 CPU (as
stated in the task manager) regularly, making the
computer's response slow at times. How do I reduce it?

The 'system idle process' is the amount of cpu that is NOT being used. You
have something else going on. I'd check for some spyware or adware process
running that you are not aware of.

System Idle Process is exactly what it sounds like.
It is the % of processing power you have waiting for something to do,
doing nothing.

If you are having problems, this is not the cause.
