System Idle Process using 98% of my CPU processor

Can someone help me- my CPU is always maxed out. Having checked the Task
Manager it wasn't SVChost as I fisrst thought it is System Idle Process- does
anyone know how to stop this process or reduce its demands on my CPU?

That simply means your CPU has nothing to do.
