Hi,

I have a problem with XP, after I installed WGAT (as requested during an
Update) my system freezes everytime I do another update. It just sits
there and the only thing I can do is switch it off, not even
CTRL_ALT_DEL works. I tried to download WGAT again and reinstall but it
refuses ("already installed") and it seems WGAT cannot be uninstalled.

I tried to download Defender Beta from the MS site to see if it find
anything wrong but the installation freezes too.

I have a normal XP installation and it's registered and validated.
There is a thing not entirely normal ,'tho. When I bought the PC it came
with a translated version (which is horrible, but it seems that MS
doesn't allow the original version to be installed outside the US) so I
reinstalled an English version using the Codes given. The installation
and validation went without problems, so I thought everything was fine
but is it possible that WGAT pukes on that? Is there a solution?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
G
