System freezing with Citrix

I have had this problem for a while with Citrix Secure Access Client.

When I try to run it, it will sometimes freeze the task bar and anything you
try to do from the bar will not work. But anything running will still seem
to work.

If I do a CTRL-ALT-DEL and select task manager, the task manager will come
up at about 50% CPU Usage. It turns out that explorer.exe will be running
at 50%.

Also, when I come back from the CTRL-ALT-DEL, the task bar will be gone and
it will stay gone for about 2-3 minutes. When it comes back, it may open or
close some of the windows from trying to select programs from the task bar
really fast.

I also noticed that if I have Citrix open for awhile, I can't the internet
to work. It is unable to open any pages. But as soon as I close Citrix,
the problem goes away and I can access all my pages.

Anyone know why this is happening?

Others at work have seen the same problems, so I know it isn't just my
machine.

Thanks,

Tom

Hmmm..... have you contacted Citrix? It sure looks like the problem is
theirs to resolve.

Actually, no.

But I am also seeing the same problem when I run my Cisco VPN client.

After a while I can't access anything on the internet. But as soon as I
close the client, it works fine.

Thanks,

Tom
