I find the font used by explorer, regedit, etc. rather
hard to read due to lack of space between characters.

How do I change it to something more friendly to my old
eyes without increasing the size?

Thanks

Hi,

Control Panel/Display/Appearance tab, click on advanced. Change the item
dropdown to message box and the font size.

Thanks, but I really want a *different* font. While I may
be living in the far-distant past, I prefer a fixed-width
font.
