system file missing (system32.exe)

I can not find the file SYSTEM32.EXE, even on WINDOWS CD-
ROM. When I start windows on my computer, a message
telling me that this file is missing appears on the
screan.

Greetings --

System32.exe is _not_ a valid Windows file, but rather a file name
commonly used for a component of several well-known viruses, worms,
and Trojans.
