Hi,

If I run the sfc command on a Win2K server (SBS) and it needs the CD,
will I need to re-install SP4 again afterwards as it restores the old
versions of the all the files? does SFC only keep track of the
originally installed files?

You need to create a new CD with the SP4 changes incorporated and use it when
running SFC.

Point it (SFC) to the SP4 I386 directory for the setup directory, it
will get the files from that directory instead of the CD.
