I agree, but would also add this fix for the missing System Explorers:

***MISSING SYSTEM EXPLORERS***
We believe we have a workaround which is better than installing the VB6 SP.
Can we have users who experience this problem try the following:

1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> cmd)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without the quotes).
3) Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware

Please let me know if this is working.

Had to change directory to the system folder for the
command to work but it seems to have done the trick!!

And which Norton product do you have installed? <g>

The missing explorers syndrome seems to be associated with installs or
changes to some Norton programs. Not really a big deal, and will become
less so as the beta progresses, I believe.

Any one have any ideas as to how I can get my BETA1 back
to full functionality on my XP(SP2) comp. I have it
installed on 2 other comps and works very well. I
recently did a system restore to last known good
config..for reasons unrelated..I even reverted back my
system restore to the point it was working. When I did,
and I opened MS BETA, went to RealTime>noted Internet,
System and Application agents active..now when I scrolled
over them, also shows active, when I open one, shows
inactive, when I try to activate...nada won't activate.
All three shows 0 of 0 checkpoints currently
monitoring??? I've uninstalled/reinstalled several times
to no avail..I've eradicated all traces of the program,
even the registry HKEY_USER_ACCOUNT $ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE,
deleted/shredded left over program files. Also when I
open Advanced tools, System Explorers shows blank
page...no access...been through uninstall/reinstall
repair program 4 times now to no avail...any ideas or
suggestions would be much appreciated...Thanx
.
