System Explorers (Not There) !Help!

The system explorer originally showed the System
Explorers after the install, but after a reboot on this
XP system it does not show the System Explorers details
on the left, just a general help note on the
right. I see that others have had this issue as well but
is there a resolution for this problem? The
uninstall /reinstall does not remidy the issue, nor does
diabling NSW2005. Anyone got any suggestions?

Hi

You are not alone with this problem and when Bill A comes
to this I think that this bug must be tracked in some way.

I can see several users running Norton and
it has always been problem more or less with Symantecs
products and Windows. ;(

I know of very few users with NSW2005 installed who don't see this symptom.
Precisely what is cause and what is effect, I don't know--but there is a
clear association, based on posts here.

I don't have a workaround for you, and would urge caution--there are a
number of posts from folks who attempted to uninstall NSW2005 and found that
quite difficult.

I would recommend uninstalling Microsoft Antispyware in your
situation--there's clearly an interaction here that has some risk for
spending a lot of time trying to fix something that maybe it would be better
to let the developers work out first.

I know these issues are being actively investigated, but not when we'll see
any result from that investigation, I'm afraid.
