system error

My XP system worked fine earlier yesterday but last night
I started receiving a message. No matter what the
response is to the message, the system reboots. The
following error message displays within seconds after the
welcome to Windows XP Home Edition screen blanks out.

isass.exe - System error

An invalid parameter was passed to a service or function.

Try booting to Last Known Good Configuration (repeatedly tap F8 when the
computer starts up to get the proper menu). If that doesn't work, do a
Repair Install. If that doesn't work, format the drive, reinstall
Windows, install drives and programs, restore data from backups. Here
