System crash

Nick Rumin

Windows 2000 has not crashed a single time in the three
years I have used it. I recently installed the latest
Service Pack. I also subsribed to high speed internet
access via dsl. Since then I have had intermittent crashes.
The message after the crash refers to some "driver" and to
a program mrxsmb.sys. This exists in the
WINNT\system32\drivers directory. Any suggestions? Being an
optimist, I did not do a backup before installing the
Service Pack :)
Thanks
