I have 2 removable drives with xp and 1 with linux. The
system had xp
running and shut down by itself. When it starts to reboot,
it offers me safe
mode, last good, etc. When I choose any, it reboots back
to same place, safe
mode, last good etc. So Itried my linux drive. It starts
loading and gives
message "aiee, killing interrupt handler". What in the
world is up with my
puter. I can still access bios, but none of my OS will
load. I thought maybe
a virus, but only one drive was in when it crashed. Help

Boot off the XP CD and do a in place Repair Install to fix Windows XP.
You can do the same with most modern linux CDs.
