System Configuration Utility problem

Please HELP!!

I have a startup item called "Dumprep 0-k" with a
command "%systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0-k" which I can't
find out what it is or how to remove it...

Plus I have a startup item ticked with a blank command
line. it has a location
of "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\currentversion\Run"
can't find what this is doing either, how do I remove it
rather than un-checking.

Thanks in advance

Hi Richard,
Just to say thanx for helping, I guess not many people say
that... you solved my mystry... and I cleared up the
startup.. thank you!

May I ask you one other question as you know your war
round XP... you may have a simple answer to this.

I had horrendous problems with Loading Norton Internet
Security 2004 onto my machine after un-installing ver
2003.. To cot a long story short, Symantic went through
with me deleting files and using registry tools to fix the
problem, what they have managed to do in the process is to
loose my Recycle bid Icon symbol.. I have a wast bin but
it's like a white box, corner turned over with a windows
kinda image in it.. If I go to restore the default
picture, which I can do easily in customize desktop, but
when I re-boot up the PC it forgets again and looses the
symbol once more. I have even un-installed Norton and
still the fault occures. Is there a way to fix this? I
understand on Win98 theres a way to delete it and windows
will re-generate the waste bin. Would this work on XP and
fix my problem.

Thanx in advance once more in you kind advice

Go to Start>Run type: regedit Navigate to
Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Shared
Tools\Msconfig\Startupreg\KernelFaultCheck. Delete folder if there.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32 \dumprep 0 -k
This should be in
C:\Windows\System32 Folder

http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlib rary/dumprep/

You can find Run at Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current
Version\Run
