System Configuration keeps starting up with Windows Vista

For some reason, every time I start my pc, system configuration automatically
starts up with the pc telling me that I have made changes to the way Windows
starts. Even though I have not made any changes to my start up items and I
check the box to tell it to not show this window or start up with my pc, it
continues to do so each time I start my pc. Obviously, it is set to autorun;
however, I did not set this myself and I'm not sure how this could have been
done. Sounds like it is set in the registry? I am clueless here. Can some
one help me with this? All help is greately appreciated. Thank you.

I get system drivers loading etc etc when booting most of the time, fairly
sure this is ok. It hasn't affected the OS doing this. So if this is the case
with you I wouldn't worry too much

I get the same problem, and no one seems to know the answer?

Have you changed the system startup options? If so, you can
go to the Boot tab and check the "Make all boot settings permanent"
box. You lose the ability to revert to the original config automatically
but you can set it manually and make it the new default.
