SYSTEM CANNOT FIND THE FILE SPECIFIED

I can't open any excel document in the outlook inbox.Any time I click on
excel document I receive this message 'The system cannot find the file
specified'. But other excel document that are not in outlook inbox can be
opened.

Could you please give me your step to step guidelines to deal with this
problem?

Just a wild guess:

Try checking the file associations for xls files. Go to the control
panel-->folder option. on the file types tab check what are the setting for
the XLS extension.
