Many of the backed up files from my last system are
marked as read-only. I am trying to copy, to update and
generally change the files. In each case I am told that
I do not have adminstrator ability to change the read-
only designation.

In Control Panel under User Accounts there are two accoun
ts: myself Tom Gundry as computer administartor and Guest
(?????)

What can I use to change this and access my files.

Tom,

I don't have an answer but I do have the exact same
problem. If I get the answer I'll let you know. Maybe
you'll do the same for me.
