System Administrator & Screen Saver

S

Stuart

I am the only person using my machine. I am the only "user" and the administrator. Having said that, I'm trying to change my screen saver (which I've done before) only now it says "your system administrator has disabled launching of the Display Settings Control Panel".

Can someone help me with this????

Thanks

Hi,

Run regedit from the start/search line, expand to this branch:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

See if one of the string values here corresponds to the display settings.
Post back with the entries you find.
