System 32 Window

S

S.L. Tarakan

Each time I boot my computer (cold boot or reboot), the
System 32 window pops up on the desktop. It's annoying,
and I'd like to know 1) why is it happening? 2) does it
indicate any problem? and 3) How can I make it go away!

Thanks for any and all help.

Greetings --

This can be caused by a blank entry, such as can be left behind by
an incomplete program removal, in the
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and/or
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys. It can also
be caused by an entry in these same keys that starts with a " / ."
